The power of love
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ... No, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:35, 37
The power of love. Think back to your first true love. New love makes us believe we can conquer anything. We feel so empowered. Nothing can bring us down.
Now think of the power of God’s love. If I believe in God then I can believe that through His love I can be more than conquerors in ALL things. Do I believe this? Or do I believe all these “things” have power over me? If I doubt that God’s love for me is enough, then I find myself believing that I’m alone (separated from Him) to face these “troubles”. Yet if I keep my face turned to God, the one who loves me, I will know nothing can separate me from His love.
Believe in the power of love – God’s love!
God, I believe in the power of your love for me. No matter what comes my way, you are there with me and together we will be more than conquerors.
