Show Up and Be an Encourager

At the sight of these people, Paul thanked God and was encouraged. Acts 28:15

Paul had finally arrived in Rome with imprisonment facing him. The sight of fellow believers lifted his spirit. Just the sight of them, and Paul knew he was not alone in this part of his journey.

Have you felt that way…all alone in a new place or situation? Or facing a tough time in your life? Isn’t it so encouraging to find a fellow believer to come along side, to show up or to walk the journey with us? Pray about who needs you to show up in their life – today, this week. Then go. Be an encouragement by just being there with them.

Thank you, God, for the opportunities that surround me to be an encouragement. Open my eyes to see them.
