Refresh the Hearts

Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people. Philemon 1:7

During a previous job, I had 2 months training staff on the use of new technology. In each training, I describe the importance of hitting the refresh button if the videos were out of sync, frozen or delayed. Just click refresh to connect to the WIFI source, and the video will be back to normal.

Paul speaks to Philemon about his love for the church meeting in his home. Philemon has refreshed the hearts of believers around him. That is our call too. It means to give “new strength or energy to.” To reconnect to our source of the Word of God and His love.

He is our source, connect to Him. Find your way back. Be refreshed today and help those in your life – your home, reconnect to the powerful source of our Lord and Savior.

God, thank you for those who have come into my life and refresh my heart. May I help others as you call me to refresh.
