Let Us Do Good

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10

Are you being criticized for doing good? Do people around you not understand why you would give your time or your money to support a cause? Are you starting to waiver, having doubts, about the good you are doing?

As believers, the world – people around you, may not understand when God calls us to be obedient and do what is “good”. You may not be supported by family and friends.

Do not grow weary. The outcome of your obedience to God may not be for you to see. Your job is obedience. God’s role is in the outcome and timing. My years in youth ministry taught me just that. My role…invest in lives, show up and share God’s love. The rest is in God’s hands.

Keep doing the good for all people.

God, show me the opportunities around me to do good in your name.
