Eternal Encouragement
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”
How has your day been? Last few weeks? Months? A little crazy??? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Disheveled? Confused? Worn out? We’ve all been there from time to time.
This prayer is a game changer for you. A change that will bring your focus back to Jesus.
Who? Jesus, Lord himself and God the Father. Jesus, our Lord is who should be our focus, our source of strength. The one who gave us the greatest gift of all…His Love and grace. He brings our focus back to what true love is.
What can we claim today and hold on to? That we have eternal encouragement and hope. None better. When we claim who God is in our life as Lord and accept His great love, we can pray our hearts to be encouraged, to be given strength amid trials as we continue to do good deeds and words in His name.
What a powerful prayer for our daily trials.
Thank you, God, my Lord, and sovereign God. Thank you for your love, your eternal encouragement and hope.
