A Work in Progress

Philippians 1:6 “…being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Have you ever played the game “the never-ending story”?

Someone starts a story, and everyone adds to it with a few words. The fun is that the next person can completely change the direction of the story. I think I just described my life. And yours too. Life is an ever-changing story.

The good news…I’m not in the hands of others, at their whim to change MY story. God began this good work in me the day I asked Him to come in. And I am confident, not always understanding, but confident, that He is going to carry out my story until my days are done…to completion.

So, when you look at my life, with all the good, along with some rough areas, know that I’m a work in progress.
